Two championship sections

The open championship brought 140 entrants to eleven Swiss rounds. Spassov and Vlastimil Jansa finished on 8½/11; Spassov won the title on the published FIDE tie-break, 55½ to 53. Saunina scored 7½/9 in the twenty-player women's event, ahead of Hanna Ereńska-Barlo on 7. The sections awarded separate titles and had separate final standings.

A complete record of played games

All 842 played games are present: 753 from the 140-player open championship and 89 from the 20-player women's championship. The sections had separate standings and titles. Four unplayed default pairings and six open-section byes are excluded from the played-game total.

The organizer's round sheets distinguish ordinary game results from awards and withdrawals. Their 753 open games and 89 women's games all match the held scores by round, color and result. Two one-move default stubs are omitted. Eleven scores incorrectly naming Dora Loda are restored to Domenico Loda, whose official player entry and opponents identify him; the original moves and ratings are preserved.
