1. 9.Ba3 9 B—Q5 is the usual and the better move.
2. 16.Kh1 White is threatened with the loss of his Queen; and if he plays Q×BP, then 16…B—K5 wins for Black.
3. 22…Qg3+ 22…Kt—Kt6; 23 R—R2, Kt×Pch; 24 Kt×Kt, R×Rch; 25 Kt×R, Q—B8 mate was a more elegant finish (Maroczy).
