The batch adds editions of the Berliner Sommer, Bad Wörishofen, Biel and Dortmund festival opens, along with the Biel and Dortmund invitation tournaments played beside them.

It includes the 1988 Biel World Mixed tournament, where world junior champion Viswanathan Anand lost a six-move game to the winner, Alonso Zapata.

Nine Staufer Opens, twelve Andorra Opens, fourteen Dresden and ZMD Opens and twelve Geneva Opens follow, each series with its own page.

Dresden also brings the 1985 Eisenbahner tournament, the 1999, 2000 and 2003 European Senior Team Championships and the 1998 centenary exhibition, where Anatoly Karpov drew with Judit Polgar.

Opens that survive only in part show a notice explaining the gaps, with the documented winner where a source names one.
