The additions include Wolfgang Uhlmann's victories at the 1954 and 1964 East German Championships, national championships in Argentina, Czechoslovakia, Hungary and Yugoslavia, and international tournaments in Sarajevo, Cleveland and Leipzig.

The 1969 World Student Team Championship in Dresden joins the archive, alongside the 1948 and 1949 U.S. Opens, the 1971 Manhattan blitz tournament, and events in Bordeaux, Winnipeg, Palanga, Mariánské Lázně and Zinnowitz.

Earlier collections include the informal games of Staunton and Cochrane in London, Anderssen with Neumann and Riemann in Berlin and Breslau, Schulten and Morphy in New York, and Eliskases in Rio de Janeiro.

The additions also include the 1868–69 British Challenge Cup, Wiesbaden 1880, the 1909 Nordic Congress master section, and recorded games from generic Soviet source collections.

Further additions include the 1879 Leipzig DSB Congress, Gouda 1880, the Helsinki Nordic zonal of 1947 and its eight-game playoff, national championships in Argentina, Czechoslovakia, Germany and Hungary, and tournaments at Hilversum, Kienbaum, Olot, Debrecen and Melbourne.

The archive also adds the Lublin PKWN festival of 1976, the complete 1977 Manila Marlboro Classic, the 1970 Ukrainian championship, and further national championships and invitationals from 1939–1976.

Further additions include the complete 1972 British and East German championships, the 1977 Štip tournament, the 1975 Swiss championship and its surviving title-playoff score, and two complete London matches from 1851–1853.

Events with missing game scores show an incomplete-record notice, with the historical number of games played where established. Played games annulled from final standings remain available in their game lists.
