Hannoverscher SK Centenary Tournament 1976
The Hannoverscher Schachklub marked its hundredth anniversary with a twelve-player international tournament. István Csom scored 8½/11 to finish half a point ahead of Jan Adamski and Raymond Keene, both on 8. Each player met every other player once.
A club centenary
The international tournament celebrated the centenary of the Hannoverscher Schachklub. A later club history recalls Csom returning to Hannover to win the anniversary event; a joint obituary from the Hannoverscher SK and Schachfreunde Hannover independently identifies the same 1976 tournament.
