The 1952 invitation group brought ten players together in Beverwijk for nine rounds. Its 45 games cover every possible pairing exactly once, matching the full crosstable in the official Tata Steel historical archive.
Euwe faced O'Kelly, Ludwig Rellstab, Daniel Yanofsky, Andrija Fuderer and Boris Kostić as well as the Dutch contingent headed by Haije Kramer, Hans Bouwmeester and Jan Hein Donner.
A commanding winning margin
Euwe completed the event undefeated, with six wins and three draws for 7½/9. O'Kelly was the nearest pursuer on 5½, while Rellstab and Yanofsky shared third on 5.
The two-point gap between first and second was the clearest statement in the table: Euwe conceded only three half-points across the entire tournament.
